UKs Premier Country Rock & Tex Mex Boogie Band bringing you a taste of the Americas...
Snake Oil, the UKs premier Country Rock & Tex Mex Rock n' Boogie band established themselves as a five piece outfit to be reckoned with, following their recent country TV show. Bringing a taste of the Americas to the UK since 2006, Hampshire based Snake Oil Band have been blazing a trail for familiar Country Rock & Tex Mex style tunes- showcasing their performances for the CMC Network.
Snake Oil amigos feature Paul Rutter on Vocals and Rhythm Guitar; David Martin Lead Guitar and Vocals; Tom Shrimpton, Bass and Vocals; Steve Shrimpton, on Drums respectively. Friends of Snake Oil include Ray Phillips and Dave Wheelhouse on Pedal Steel guitar playing duties, alongside our fiddler Elina Zotova.
Snake Oil Rack Up Over 500 shows...
Since forming in early 2006, Snake Oil have racked up over 500 shows playing to audiences scattered around the UK. Snake Oil dates have included Summer Festivals, Beer Festivals, Food Festivals, Country Music Club Nights, Classic Car Rallies, Private and Corporate Events and Functions - indulging in American and Mexican Country Rockin' Boogie. Cold cerveza by the grill is highly recommended.
